FAQ

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The exifr library runs entirely in your browser. No network requests are made and the file never leaves your device.
Which image formats are supported?
JPEG, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF, PNG, and most camera RAW previews. EXIF is most complete on JPEG and HEIC photos taken by smartphones.
Why is GPS hidden by default?
GPS coordinates are sensitive personal data. We hide them behind a "Reveal GPS" toggle so you can audit a photo safely before sharing the result.
What if no EXIF is detected?
Some images are stripped of EXIF (e.g. by social media). In that case the table is empty and the file's basic info (dimensions, format) is still shown.
