- Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
- No. The exifr library runs entirely in your browser. No network requests are made and the file never leaves your device.
- Which image formats are supported?
- JPEG, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF, PNG, and most camera RAW previews. EXIF is most complete on JPEG and HEIC photos taken by smartphones.
- Why is GPS hidden by default?
- GPS coordinates are sensitive personal data. We hide them behind a "Reveal GPS" toggle so you can audit a photo safely before sharing the result.
- What if no EXIF is detected?
- Some images are stripped of EXIF (e.g. by social media). In that case the table is empty and the file's basic info (dimensions, format) is still shown.
